Session 4b: In Which Star gets pet Frogs
General Summary
The trio decided to explore town and do research at the Quietus. They learned that Muxagor is most likely a bullywog, but are still confused as to his living state. Lich? Zombie? Vampire? Star looked for any books on Tabaxi, and found some, though they were wildly inaccurate. Star said she would look for more accurate books and bring them to the Quietus. They also looked at some shops, and Mist obtained a decanter of endless drinks.
They talked to Yedora and found out that the Ghosts' "ceremony" is most likely graduation, that she was not allowed to plant trees in their memory, and that Muxagor was a Pestcatcher. His old room is currently the RAs room, which Dr. Cawrawk is casing.
They visited Auntie again. She told them that she and Muxagor have a "history" together and showed them the basement that still holds his old experimentation chambers. They visited the Ghosts to tell them what they had learned, and found out that Auntie likes the pain and despair from the Grove and would need something of equal pain and despair if she were to let them go. The Ghosts need to take their exams to graduate, and in order to do that, they need to possess willing living people. They also need to convince the faculty to let them take their exams. Star told Injarido that she has Injarido's ilkwa, and Jisra told Kaylessa that she will take Kaylessa's sword and holy symbol to the home temple in Waterdeep over Simril. Mist offered Auntie a tarokka reading, which should be very interesting.
They joined Greyson and others in the great frog race, which Star won. Someone had been messing with the frogs and the trio had to fight four giant frogs after racing them. They won, and the frogs thankfully became normal frogs again, which is good because otherwise Star would have been sad.
