End of an Age
Mad's personal sword. A two-sided, gold-covered sword with a slightly forking tip which curves back inward toward the tip. The weapon, when it was originally forged, was made as a two-handed sword, though Mad wields it with just one. Fitted with a powerful Layered Chain Blade generator, and made out of Carbon-Interlaced Aluminium Alloy, the sword has immense durability and cutting power.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
A rather standard sword in the most part, the sword is composed of Carbon-Interlaced Aluminium Alloy and has an eleven-layer layered chain generator within it. This makes it a strong and sharp sword, capable of slicing through its targets with ease.
History
Built at the time of Mad's promotion to Admiral-Commander of the Cellean military, he has used it time and time again and kept it as his weapon. It still is in use today.
Significance
Being Mad's personal choise of weapon, it had its fair share of attention. Partly helped by Mad's reputation as vicious duelist and combatant, the sword's golden appearance played into Mad's nicname, the Gilded Butcher.
