Neptune
Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun and the farthest known solar planet. In the Solar System, it is the fourth-largest planet by diameter, the third-most-massive planet, and the densest giant planet. It is 17 times the mass of Earth, and slightly more massive than its near-twin Uranus, both of which are classified as Ice Giants. Home to several rings and 13 moons the largest and most populous being Triton.
Though largely healed now, famously The First Wave left a hole in Neptune from crashing through the planet unwilling to change course for anything. The scarring marks on the beautiful blue planet. however this has left Neptune mysterious and in some ways a common spot for tourist and scientist with a fascination of the Xenophage, as well as a home for the Tritonmen - {bugbear} that dominate the space.

History
To understand Neptune's history we must understand the fact that Neptune is the only planet in the solar system so far away from earth one can not see it with the eye. Neptune beautiful as it was attracted colonist less for it's industrial use, but it's distance from earth. It was a haven for the rich, elite, those who wished to live by the old Chinese ethos "The mountains are high and the emperor far away." As such Neptune while taking many many months of Gravity Engine based flight from earth to reach Neptune, it was still a popular site of colonization as well as an over-funded candidate.
When the First Wave struck Neptune, the effects were disastrous. Moons were stripped bare, defensive platforms destroyed and dragged into the wave. However, thanks to an advanced warning from a station in the Kuiper Belt and an illegal lab on Triton working on stealth tech allowed the moon to operate undetected.
Eventually during the Celestial Connection's era of exploration lead ships from Europa and Io to rediscover the Ice Giant and the Tritonmen who call it home. They quickly joined the CC. Though descendants of the most wealthy and capitalistic of old earth, the modern survivors of Neptune are most famous for their low-g effected stretched out hairy forms and for being backwards and suspicious folk. However, none can deny them as the masters of stealth tech.
