Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. Its name is a reference to the Greek god of the sky, Uranus (Caelus). The planet is classified as an Ice Giant, different than a traditional gas giant as it is full of flowing ice shards mixed with ammonia and hydrogen Uranus and it's moons are considered a Dead World, as all life in it's orbit has been consumed by the Xenophage.
Though Uranus has 27 moons and two sets of smaller rings, many of which were designated as suitable for colonization, but few ever were. Notably most people consider Uranus a haunted world. Rarely visited and one of the most dangerous parts of the solar system. It is said many Xenophage ships lie in a state of inactivity hunting things that travel without fear through the rings. Other sailors claim there are hidden black sites around this cursed Ice Giant. Few are bold enough to look into its mysteries.

History
Uranus was not a hot ticket for colonization due to distance and lack of reputation. Still many small mining companies based mostly in Oberon, Titania, Ariel, and Puck. Though entirely spared by The First Wave, as Uranus was not in between them and earth, the distance and destruction of the middle system left Uranus's moons to starve. All but Arial with a small hydroponics station, and Titania, the industrial center survived. It is said when ships from Europa first rediscovered the planet, the people of it's moon were near extinct from starvation. The rumors surrounding cannibalism and horrible crimes to survive began Uranus' reputation as a haunted world.
Still membership to the CC was extended and the moons joined and with it grain from Ganymede began to flow in. The moons were saved, but the rumors meant they would never be a popular part of the CC. Little expansion was done, and though a gate was built over Titan it would remain the smallest gate in the system.
Poor, but no longer doomed, things began to improve for the region of the system, however, though spared the first, The Second Wave was first detected when it struck Uranus. The result was total devastation by the time ships from the rest of the CC entered the system, every living person on Arial and Titania was dead and repurposed. The total devastation was shocking, and though never popular with the rest of the CC, revenge for Uranus became the biggest factor for CC involvement in the Battle of the Beijing Miracle.
However, this tragedy has cemented the opinion of Uranus as a haunted and cursed part of the the system. Few venture there besides scrappers and explorers. Though talks of recolonizing Titania and Arial are spoken of and not acted on. Even the gate sits growing more and more non-functional as it remains unmaintained. It and the Kuiper Belt beyond Pluto are seen are perhaps the least popular and most haunted parts of space.
