Serving Rastil's a group of Garuda devise a unique plan to safeguard their regions nature.
Being tasked by Rastil to protect and preserve nature, the Daru tribes settled large swaths of territory as their Huis Tuin or "Home Garden". With such a small population from the migration generations before, groups of 20-50 Garuda would put in charge of areas spanning a thousands of miles. Enough to tend to the area but not enough to protect them from hostile peoples who want to exploit nature. No of them wanted a repeat of the Flight of the Daru from Reevnic. Chief Tarcaw of the Lona Veer (Lone Feather) tribe came up with a solution to the problem. Instead of trying to protect impossible large territories, he instructed the tribe's druids to begin work on enchanting a 100 square mile area. Magic to ward against intruders, natural disasters, and to combat disease of all kinds. Hunters were tasked with finding all types of flora and fauna and bringing them to this area. Essentially transplanting every form of found flora and fauna to the enchanted grove. After four years of hard work, the Veer Grove was finished. Instead of having to protect all of nature, the Veer Grove would serve as a safe haven where it could survive and regrow should a species be eradicated outside of the its borders. Over the years magic stone totems would be spread throughout the grove which energized plant life and encouraged it to spread throughout the surrounding areas.
