Population Migration / Travel
The Revic's continued expansion and violent ravaging of the land eventually put the Daru in danger. In a desperate bid to outrun extinction, they fled over the Strait of Moeg.
With the industrial Revic population exploding across the Reevnic, more and more resources were claimed to feed their ever growing civilization. This rapid expansion put them at odds with the Daru who were actively trying to preserve the vast unspoiled lands of the River Regions as decreed by their creator, Rastil. Like a plague, the Revic swept over the Kalm Jungles, encircling around the Cradling Range, and finally began pillaging the resources of the River Regions. The Daru attempted to fight back and protect the land. But one by one, the tribes were overpowered by the endless insectile swarms of the Revic. The few surviving tribes were pushed up against the vast ocean in the south. Council was held between the last 3 tribes on whether they should fight or flee. While fighting was seen as certain suicide, the chief of the Tribe Molor Veer (Molor Feathers) viewed a fighting slaughter better then starving over the seemingly endless ocean to the south. The chiefs of the Verre Veer and Lona Veer tribes viewed fleeing as a final chance to fulfil the divine task Rastil entrusted to them. In the end the Molor Veer opted to stay behind and fight the Revic, and were predictably slaughtered. The other two tribes ritually executed those too old to fly, to prevent their capture by the Revic, and took flight to the south. Not knowing if any other land even existed beyond the horizon. After a solid XXX of flying and gliding, the surviving Daru saw land in the distance, land that was lush and green to the sight. They called this land Molor, in memory an testament to the vile dangers the Revic were.
