Star Wars
Crisis in Dalicron
The Galactic Civil war has paused while the New Republic consolidates its' fleets and planets. The Imperial fleet, once the most powerful in the galaxy, has been broken and dispersed. Across known space many sectors have broken away from the established powers, declaring their own governments.
The Dalicron sector sits in the gap between three interstellar hyperspace routes. Since exploration reached the Outer Rim the Dalicron sector has been just beyond the edge of conflict, never fully engaged but often impacted by the titanic battles that raged around it.
Now the sector is embroiled in its' own war. In the north the once-Imperial governor, Dorance Galgorn, supported by a fleet with four star destroyers, has declared himself Lord Marshal, ruler of the Empire of Dalicron. Several of the southern planets have formed the Renlus Federation and possess just enough naval forces to compel a fragile truce between north and south.
But tensions rise within the sector as foreign agents and regional bandit lords seek to influence the truce and stories of strange beings generate fears of mythical dark powers that steal souls.
