WHiV Session 6: Welcoming the Neighbors

Roughly two years after the death of the Vegas' Prince, the city and its vampiric underworld had started to move on. New casinos rose across the Strip, and a new coterie of vampires claimed the tunnels beneath that very same Strip as their domain. This coterie was assembled at their hideout deep inside the tunnels when they were visted by the city's new Sheriff, Nadiya. She warned them to keep an eye three burgeoning threats in Vegas: the Sabbat, the Ministry, and increased scrutiny from the FBI. So the coterie set out to survey the edges of the city, stopping by the Asylum to meet with their old friend Jeanette Voerman. Her sister Therese was among the vampires killed in the bombing that slayed Moe Green, and after two years of no results she was getting restless about holding the killers accountable. Charlie noticed that one of the clubgoers was an FBI agent in disguise, and with some of Gil's assistance they managed to nab the agent's badge number and the name of his boss: Julia Rothman. The coterie then walked across Vegas' vast suburban sprawl, venturing into its most blighted neighborhoods for any signs of Sabbat activity. Angus and Anthony knew the signs to look for, and eventually they came across a row home covered in Sabbat symbols and reeking of supernatural corruption. Bullets, fists, eldritch horrors, in less than a minute the coterie managed to tear the house apart and slaughter more than half the Sabbat vampires inside. All this carnage started to alert the neighbors, and a couple of Sabbat agents managed to escape while the coterie fled back into the tunnels. Surely the Sheriff would be pleased with their hard work.
