Okumura Shihi

Okumura Shihi is the officer/leader of a team of adventurers called The Lanterns. They typically perform recon/exploration missions, supply runs, and other sorts of exploration in support of The Yamato's mission.
Okumura is a dedicated believer and officer. He's treated as the leader of the Lanterns because he's the eldest (by a wide margin).

Personality: Wise and compassionate, Okumura Shihi exudes an air of authority that commands respect without needing to demand it. He is a patient mentor to his team and a staunch advocate for diplomacy over violence, though he is not afraid to take decisive action when needed.

Appearance: Shihi’s once-dark hair and beard have gone completely silver, giving him a sage-like appearance. He wears ceremonial armor polished to a mirror sheen and carries a staff topped with a sunburst emblem.

Background: Shihi is a former high priest of a sun deity who left his temple after receiving a divine vision of the cosmos. The vision drove him to join the Yamato and use his light-given powers to protect and guide those who travel the stars. As the eldest and most experienced, he naturally became the team’s leader.

Quirk: Shihi often begins team meetings with inspirational parables that may or may not relate to the situation at hand.
