Race/Class/Role: Male Dwarf Hunter Ranger / Gunnery Officer

Personality: Hideo has a dry sense of humor and an easygoing demeanor, which masks his razor-sharp instincts. He’s the team’s sniper and wilderness expert, often acting as the voice of reason when things get chaotic. Despite his laid-back attitude, Hideo is fiercely protective of his crew and has an unshakable focus in combat.

Appearance: Leaner than most dwarves, Hideo wears lightweight leather armor to stay nimble. His hair and beard are kept short, and his piercing green eyes give him the look of someone always on the hunt.

Background: Hideo’s life on the ground was filled with wandering forests and hunting monstrous creatures that threatened his village. He eventually left his homeworld in search of bigger challenges and found his calling manning the Yamato’s guns. His uncanny aim and spatial awareness make him a lethal force in the vastness of Wildspace.

Quirk: Hideo carries a prized hunting musket that he named “Starshadow.” He treats it like a living companion, talking to it during long stakeouts.
