The Consortium

The Consortium is a merchantile alliance of the Darda'il species. Controlling a region known as The Nexus, which connects it to all known regions of the Astral Realm, the Consortium is the central trade hub of that universe. This puts it in a considerable position of power, though it has made as many enemies as it has allies during its mercurial time.
Though time is a confusing concept within the Astral Realm, the Consortium is considered a relatively young organization. Still, its leader, known as the Nexus-King, is said to have been killed by the Akhaale at their height. This has caused an age of turmoil for the Consortium, as the various Nexus-Princes are now locked in a brutal conflict of succession.
