Vallhalla
Vallhalla was once a rural colony of the Thondorian Kingdoms. The planet was ideal for massive agriculture and population growth, but poor mismanagement and irregular supplies left the colony a small backwater of the kingdoms. When the Silence fell the Vallahallan realm arose. A military coup took the planet, and established itself as a difficult enemy of the Zym Hegemony, directly leading to its demise. Vallhalla reaps the benefits of its antagonistic relationship with its holdings in Wild Space. A handful of large cities dot the surface of the rural gateless system. The Colonial Earth Empire maintains an embassy here, and has regularly been caught smuggling advanced weapons to the planet.
The Empire also floods Vallhalla with credits and industrial supplies, allowing the planet to live without relative shortage of goods needed to run the massive metropol centers of the planet. Vallhalla also is happy to employ "indebted workers" to maintain this way of life, many of whom are brought from all across the Mid Rim.
Vanguard Revolutionary Forces and Starwatch strike teams have been accused of carrying out raids liberating these workers, though the Union is adamant that these are just the material realities of utilizing slaves. The rural areas are notoriously poverty stricken, and used as a means of conscripts for the Realm to wage war across the stars.
