Kytograd

A cold, bleak and overpopulated moon located just along the Spice Road, Kytograd is the home and hub of IsoChem. There are billions of souls that live on this poorly-terraformed rock. They are heavily supported by the funds and money gathered from the resource-rich systems Trinity and Newton. Kytograd is highly unequal. The wealthy few live in fortified highrises, protected by private security, in the citadel prefecture near the north pole. The most poor live deep below the crust of the planet, where the energy from powerful geothermal plants runs the entire planet. Called the Pits, the ungratefuls have taken hold down here, helping form labor unions amongst the plant workers.
It often comes to violence, as privately funded security regularly tries to sweep out these labor organizers from their crucial infrastructure. However, most of this violence is poorly applied, and ends up killing a large amount of civilians. This creates a cycle of violence that has only continued to get worse and worse. IsoChem continues to clamp down harder and harder, and has been rumored to have been using shinobi to kill labor organizers.
Most people on Kytograd just get by one day at a time, trying to not let the megacities devour them. The planet relies on heavily processed foods, usually shipped in from off planet with some being grown in industrial greenhouses. Massive mag-lev trains cover the entire planet.
The Interstellar Gate is in orbit around the same massive gass giant known as Kyodai. Strategically, Kytograd serves as the first line of defense for the Corporate Assembly along the Spice Road. It has long held the tide against the Red Sun Commonwealth, and has paid a heavy price for this position.
