Argon Arena
Argon Arena is a large building located in The Hive with a compressed internal space that can produce battlefields of nearly any size. Here is where Argon Entertainment hosts its biggest wargames, particularly rumbles between the cycle gangs of Neon Server.
Purpose / Function
Before the city began to warm to the "reality fights" in the city proper, most fights were staged inside the widely variable arena. Most of the configurations of today are geared toward high speed cycle fights with light walls, but there remain a staple of on-foot arenas and obstacle courses. A recent attraction has become island arenas where contestants must gather weapons and fight their way to the center in a giant elimination match.
Alterations
The Arena was originally designed for more common sports like Magball but was reformatted by Argon Entertainment to its combat specifications of today.
Architecture
The arena is elliptical with large stands for Users and Process to observe the fights and a retractable roof. Parking garages minimize the footprint of the structure by compressing vehicles for recall.
