Publicly, Landrian DeChampe is known as one of the highest ranking wizards inside the Mage's Guild. He is the head mage of the order of the Rift-Walkers, the order that is in charge of maintaining and establishing the teleportation routes between worlds. Leveraging his knowledge and control over shipping routes and mixing it with his knowledge of the criminal underground from Paris, Landrian established the largest reaching and most successful crime syndicate in history, known as the Ombre D'Etoiles. As the leader of the Ombre, Landrian uses the name "Le Souverain" and has influence in every one of the planets from Mercury to Saturn.
