Sorina Nicolette L’Amour Von Zarovich
Early Life
Sorina was born to Caroline L’Amour in the city of Felize. For many years, her life was happy and normal. She was close with her younger sister, Isabella, and doted on. This changed when a man named Sorin Von Zarovich came knocking on their door. Pierre L’Amour, none the wiser, invited Sorin inside, where he claimed that Sorina was not Pierre’s daughter at all. Sorin’s visit was chaotic, much to his amusement. Caroline told her family that Sorin had used his otherworldly abilities to take advantage of her, and while Sorina was not Pierre’s daughter, Isabella definitely was. Pierre was not angry, but distanced himself emotionally from Sorina, especially as her vampiric appetite surfaced over time. Sorina became distraught over her true parentage, particularly focused on the fact that her supernatural lifespan would well exceed that of her beloved sister. Sorin kidnapped Sorina repeatedly throughout her childhood, attempting to turn her toward her purpose as a dhampir - protecting her vampire creator. Sorina rebelled against him and resented that he would not transform Isabella into a vampire so that they might live their years together. Both Caroline and Pierre L’Amour passed away of old age in Felize, still married.Paladin Oath
In her teens, Sorina found her own path in the church. She became a devotee of the Grim Maiden, a deity created by Mother Earth to limit unchecked primordial life. Sorina took the Oath of Vengeance, vowing to end the lifespan of Sorin Von Zarovich, who she believed had overstayed his welcome in this world. In her hypocritical fashion, Sorina also dedicated herself to searching for a way to extend Isabella’s life, fearing the death of her sister and the loss of her humanity. Dedicating herself to the Maiden led to some unexpected perks in the Feywild. Strange blue mushrooms invaded the Sovereign, turning those who touched or breathed their spores into zombie-like creature. Sorina found herself immune to the mushrooms, and she could event communicate with them to manipulate their movement. These mushrooms were later discovered to be a tool of the Maiden, who used them to fight against population overgrowth.First Death
At age 22, Sorina was killed by a vampire slayer who mistook her for a full vampire. She was inebriated at the time, and has been unwilling to consume too much alcohol since. The church in Felize returned her to her body.Joining the Furies
Sorina stayed in Razor Rock for time, searching for employment. She stayed at the Sovereign Citizen, run by Petey Wheatstraw, who implied that he knew of her vampiric nature and did not mind. After meeting Maela in a toilet, they worked together to get payment for their stay at the inn. Later, they joined the group as a whole to run security for Petey in exchange for a roof over their heads, eventually inheriting the Sovereign themselves.Meeting the Baba Yaga
While searching the market in Razor Rock, Sorina encountered a strange old woman who claimed to have a potion that could make Isabella young again. In exchange, the woman asked for ten years of Sorina’s life. The deal was struck, aging Sorina from 79 to 89 years old, and the old woman vanished into Sorina’s body. The Baba Yaga would live inside Sorina for a time, speaking to her and making requests. The Baba’s potion did work, turning the elderly Isabella back into a thirty year old woman.The Adoption
Baba Yaga requested that Sorina abduct a specific child from a local orphanage and bring her to a hut in the woods. Sorina obliged, thinking that a refusal may hurt Isabella, and persuaded the pink haired halfling child named Maramae to follow her. Maramae stayed with the Baba for a few weeks until Sorina was called back to take her. In that time, Maramae had aged impossibly fast, now physically a teenager with the mind of a young girl. Baba Yaga instructed Sorina to care for Maramae for one year, after which the Baba would return for her. Unable to have a child of her own, Sorina grew fond of Maramae and faced immense guilt for turning her over to Baba Yaga. She strove to right her wrong by giving Maramae a good childhood and raising her to be able to defend herself. Eventually and with moral support from Horatio Highjumper, Sorina told Maramae the circumstances of how she came to be raised by Baba Yaga. Maramae was upset by Sorina’s actions and their relationship became slightly strained, while Sorina vowed to not let Baba Yaga take Maramae back.Second Death
At age 89, Sorina was killed for a second time by Mama, a revenant that tracked the group to Crossroads. She was resurrected by Brother Ben, and with the blessing of the Grim Maiden, was permitted to live once more.The Body Swap
After The Jagosi Incident, the Furies rebranded themselves as the Crossroads Restoration Committee. During their efforts, they had to travel inside the Blue Veil, meeting various versions of themselves from alternate worlds. One such was Executor Sorina, the most lawful good and holy version of Sorina. The Executor argued with Sorina about whether or not to kill Jagosi. Sorina hoped for mercy towards his curse and was able to persuade the Executor to agree. Once leaving that reality, Sorina found that she had been taken from her dhampir body and placed in the body of the Executor. After the Restoration Committee subdued Jagosi's curse, Sorina returned to the Blue Veil to collect her dhampir corpse and gave it to Maxi, who holds the body in stasis should Sorina want to return to it.Mental characteristics

Morality & Philosophy
Sorina is often combative towards traditional morality. Having to kill and consume blood to survive, she became aggressive towards those who believe that vampires are morally corrupt from birth, viewing vampire slayers as short-sighted. She was most sympathetic toward Jagosi Irwin during his struggle with needing to consume people to live. However, those vampires or "monsters" who become gluttonous and kill beyond their need equally disgust her. She is often conflicted and can be hypocritcal.
