Pierre L'Amour
Pierre L’Amour was born and raised in Felize. He is the youngest of three brothers, preceded by Louis and Olivier L’Amour. Soft in nature and slightly rotund, Pierre was dazzled by the fiery Caroline at their first meeting. She in turn found steady comfort in his gentle ways. Pierre aspired to be a baker and eventually opened his own shop to mild success, though he spent almost as much time in the garden as he did in the kitchen.
Pierre would proclaim to anyone that Caroline was the love of his life, but he housed a secret fear that perhaps she burned too brightly to stay by his side. This fear became realized when he discovered that his firstborn daughter was not his at all. Pierre did not hide his dislike of Sorin, but his love for Caroline overcame the dreadful situation. Though never outwardly unpleasant to Sorina, he emotionally distanced himself from her as she began her transformation into a dhampir. Pierre implemented a rule to not speak of drinking blood in the house, though behind closed doors, Sorina detailed her exploits to her sister. Pierre deeply adored Isabella, braiding her hair and throwing many childhood tea parties. He was disappointed that he could not make Isabella’s accent more Felizian in nature. As he grew old, he became visibly unsettled by Sorina’s lack of aging, often jumping when she approached.
Pierre died at age 81, six months after the death of his wife. He passed peacefully in their family home with Isabella by his side.
