Venus Representative Collective
The Venus Representative Collective (VRC) is the central governing body for the city-states of Venus. Established in 2515 after the Venusian Civil War, the VRC acts as a decision making body for all foreign policy and city-state dispute matters.
Structure
Head Ministry
The Head Ministry is not like most executive branches in that it doesnt create or vote on laws and has no veto power over new laws being enacted. The body acts as to implament and uphold laws created by the Representative Chamber, coordinate off-world commerce, act as daily administers of the military, and run the nations dipomatic offices. They are also the head administrative organization of the Venus Orbital Transport Stations.

- Dimplomacy Minister
- Defense Minister
- Commerce Minister
- Logistics Minister
- Intelligence Minister
Representative Chamber
The legislative body of the VRC consists of groups of ten representatives from each city-state. The cities themselves choose the means and schedules of selecting their representatives as well as hold the power to removed them unless they knowingly break VRC tenets.
City States
The membership of the VRC is made up of sovereign city-states that are the cloud cities that orbit the planet.

Culture
People from Venus believe, and progress along the idea that they will one day be able to tame and terraform their plant. Since the cities they currently live in use the clouds (vacuumed up) to help oxygenate and power their cities, mathematical models have been created to estimate when 1.) the cities will no longer be able to float; 2.) the greenhouse effect on the planet will dissipate and the surface will stabilize. As a result of which they have a pretty good relationship with Mars who have similar goals of terraforming and are much further along.

Slang / Derogatory phrases towards Venusians:
- Clouders
- Vapors - (both in terms that they breathe vapor (vape), and live on, thus are weak as vapor)
- Floaters

Slang / Derogatory phrases from Venusians towards others:
- Grouders
- Surfacists (Surface Dwellers)
Military
The VRC military is made up of the VRC Navy and the VRC Marine Corps. Despite its size and training the Venusian military has seen the least engagment out of all the Sol System militaries. However, they aren't without experience entierly, the size of the navy allows for long term commitment of ships to the (STSC??) force in the system, the VRCN provides more ships than any other organization within the agreement.

Trade & Transport
The Venus Orbital Transport Stations act as gteways between the planet and the system at large. The need for specialized ships built to withstand the corrosive atmosphere of Venus to ferry people to and from the planet also means that these stations are the clearest way to get goods to and from cities as well. As well as aiding travel to and from the planet, they are also the most efficient way to travel from city to city. Each station has a bustling market district as well as large warhouses for goods ready to be shipped. The VRC and participant cities have two main sources of trade, ships and gas. Over the years multiple large ship yards have been created around Venus and with raw materials from nearby mining on Mercury they stay in regular production. From warships to freighters to pleasure barges the Venusian shipyards produce more of the system's ships than any other entity public or private, thier closest rival being the CAB shipyards out in the Belt. The sale from these ships goes to funding the Navy, Marines, and the VRC itself, with the remainder split equally amoung the participant cities. The gas that is sold by the city-states is the surplus siphoned atmosphere needed to maintain systems on the floating cities. What collected gas isn't used get stored and sold to Mars who release on the Martian surface to help with terraforming efforts.
