Noctis is the capital district of the Martian Republic and home to the chambers of the Martian Senate as well as all federal offices and meeting chambers.
Local
The government of Noctis, like all district governments within the Martian Republic, is run by its District Council, which consists of the Council Members who propose bills and bring up citizens concerns within the distctrict chambers; and the Martian District Governor, who manages the administractive and beuracratic dealings of the districts as well as signs into law proposals brought by the District Council. The District Representatives are voted in by the people and the governor is appointed by the Martian Secretary General. The Governorship usually changes with the term of the Secretary General.
