Steel-Toes
When we marched through the Diomhearch woods towards the enemy encampment, we thought we would meet a bunch of ragged woodsmen. No uniform other than their flannel shirts and just as likely to be equipped with a lumber axe as they were to be armed with a musket. To make that mistake once, with their navy, should have been enough but our hubris brought us marching straight into the teeth of a fort we didn't even know was there. We deserved the massacre that fell on our heads. At least we never underestimated the Steel-Toes again.

Manpower
Standard layout, usually deployed in battalion strength, depending on the situation. Battalion strength is 1000 men and required equipment.
Equipment
- Standard kit includes a Mark 3 M&R Huntsman-Pattern Repeating Rifle.
Their uniform consists of brown straight-cut pants with a heavy patch at the knee, a thick navy colored shirt, and a wide brimmed hat.
As well as their boots, of course.
