Brimm
Devils. The world has attempted to kick their teeth in more times than I can count. None have been able to do it, and I don't think that they ever will. Choir will have their back until the end of time, not that the Devil's wouldn't make it without them, but it helps. The whole world thinks they have horns, but they don't need them to gore those that try and put them down.

History
The brother nation to Choir, Brimm was one half of their home plane. From what records survived, Brimm was the heart to Choir's brain. A place of passion, and freedom, Brimm was a place of enjoyment for everyone on the home plane. A role they continue even after the Realmshatter.
It's a shame, looking back from the modern era, that the Devils ended up on Sol Nua. A people no more evil than any other race on our world, but they just so happened to fit the description of certain kinds of demons for many peoples across the world. This has led to more than a few 'holy wars', enough to fill a book, that attempted to stomp them out. Each of those wars ended, unquestioningly, in Brimm's favor. Aided both by the geography of their home and their allies of Choir, most invasions choke on the blood spilled in the heavily fortified pass colloquially known as Brimstone Alley. The one and only pass through the Sky-Breaker Mountains that doesn't lead through Choir's borders. The few tha did manage to break through, whether it be through magic or manpower, the invaders quickly found themselves in a nock-down-drag-out slugging match for every inch of land. To make matters harder for themselves, Choir would often step in, deploying its Archangels to devastating effect. In all the invasions over the past three thousand years, not a single one has even gotten in view of the capitol.
The overarching government of Brimm is, surprisingly, a theocracy. Though the tenants of their faith are strange and incredibly lax in comparison to the other theocracies of the world.
A free-spirited people to this day, the Devils of Brimm are known for their passion and drive in life. Most Devils find their passion early in life, and throw themselves body and mind into whatever it might be. Be it beekeeping, mercenary work, or exotic dancing. Many would think that would make them incompatible with their sister Angels, but it happens to bring them all the closer. The free nature of the Devils keeps the Angels from becoming too rigid, while the firm nature of the Seraph keeps the Devils from falling to anarchy.

Mythology & Lore
Long before the birth of the Devils and the Seraph, the world was an empty and cold place. The moon and the sun rose and sank, impassively revolving through time to no clear end. One morning, however, a rivulet of sunlight gathered in a crevis and flowed through it. As it ran, it gathered in three separate cuts in the ground, each one filled with rubies, and cooling as it sat. As it sat, it cooled, the gold of the sun dimming, and suffusing with the red of the rubies that now floated within them.
Suddenly, the light sat up, taking in the world around it. Reaching over, the first pool woke the next, and the next did the same for the last. They looked at each other and smiled. Laughter bubbled from the three, and the danced across the world. Each one creating animals and plants at their fancy. The first sister, Lemluel, crafted a cantor filum and her strumming filled the world with breezes and wind. The second sister, Fesuel, finding newly blooming plants gathered up their petals and painted the sky in wonderous pastels. Karuel, the third sister, looked upon the works of her two older siblings and shed a tear. For she had nothing so beautiful as those two. Taking her shed tear, she tipped her pen with it and wrote her feelings into the very stone. A poem that would stand the test of time.
As her tear sank into the rock, the whole world felt her sadness, and itself burst into tears. The oceans quickly filled, while the sadness spread to the sky, crying rain and storms into existence. The first two sisters looked around themselves, their eyes alighting on the sapphire beauty that now surrounded them and marveled at their sister's creation and how it included theirs as well.
If all three of their arts could make something so beautiful, they wondered what might happen if they worked together on purpose. And so they did. Lemuel plucked a ruby from her chest and carved it in the image of the three sisters. Fesuel grabbed another bundle of flower petals, and wrapped the figurine in the pale pink and white petals of the Crossroads Orchid. Karuel, cupped her hands and dipped them into the newly formed ocean. As she rose, she let her light into the water, turning it a deep red before tipping it into the mouth of the figure. It drank deeply, and when it was done, the ruby figure stood under its own power
Hashinloelle, the first of the Devils, looked up at his mothers and asked, "What am I to do?"
They smiled at him, and said: "Whatever it is you wish."
He looked around at the works of art his mothers had created. "I want to do it all."
Again, his mothers smiled, before each one bestowed upon him a gift of their craft. Lemluel crafted another instrument, a guitar, that would never fall out of tune, nor break a string. Fesuel, crafted an easel and a set of paints to match the pastels of the sky. Finally, Karuel crafted him a pen that would never run out of ink and imbue the words it wrote with force.
Hashinoelle looked at the gifts of his mothers and grinned a child's grin, before it fell away, and he looked back to his mothers. "Will I have to do it alone?" "Of course not."
Tenets of Faith
- Pursue only what you wish to, what is the point if you do not
- If life is not enjoyed, it is wasted
- To bind another, undeservedly, stands as a grievous sin
