Appearance
Farah is short woman with south east Asian features. She has a soft face, and it's said Symon and Izzah most resemble her. She Is an older woman and beginning to grey, but it's difficult to see it as she is often wearing a headscarf over her hair. She dresses modestly but enjoys dresses with bright colors and flower patterns.Description
Farah prides herself in being a stay at home wife and mother. She likes to brag about her children's accomplishments and values the public perception of herself and her family. While she cares for her children, she has a bad habit of trying to scrub away their less desirable traits. Under her veil of kindness is an extremely critical and nit-picky woman. She has health issues due to her age and how old she was when she had her youngest child Izzah. She cannot work labor intensive jobs due to arthritis and asthma.Relationships
History
Farah and Oman met in Minau when they were both quite young and fell in love quickly. But they had met just before he Bituin Burkhan conflict, and had to wait until after Oman and finished his service in the military before they could wed. Afterwards they would have their first child together, Symon. Later on, they would try for a second kid, despite the risk Farah's older age would bring to the pregnancy.
History
Symon was Farah's first child. She was excited to have a son she could dote on, but as he got older, she started to notice more and more her child's odd behavior. She would try her best to correct what she thought was simply him being antisocial, picky, and emotional. In reality, these were signs of a real neurological condition that she would often harshly insult and criticize Symon for, leading him to believe there was something fundamentally broken about him.
Relationship Reasoning
Symon cares deeply for his mother and is desperate to impress her, but often finds it difficult to do so he pride himself in making it so she doesn't have to work in her old age, even if the gesture often goes unappreciated. Deep down he wishes he was the child his mother bragged about to friends and neighbors, instead it's usually his sister who is valued more.
History
Farah concieved Izzah when she was 40 years old. This made her not only an incredibly unlikely conception but a risky pregnancy as well. Despite this, Izzah was born completely healthy, which caused her mother to dub her a miracle baby. Izzah was not as difficult to raise as Symon, and thus she tended to get more attention than her brother. She was often very spoiled as a child, even when most of the income came from Symon's paycheck.
Relationship Reasoning
Farah often brags about how beautiful and talented her daughter is. She is her pride and joy and still calls her 'her miracle baby' even to this day.
