Gooputer

Appearance-wise, a Gooputer is a small gooey cubic of a color of your choice. It has no periphery devices or internal visible life. It is an interface machine that combines itself with your brain and allows you access to the AI, the database, and the processing power of Sagi, as well as access to your own data. It is the foundation of more advanced technologies like the Goo Virtual Reality System and the Gootel.
The connection strengths and the control and speed of the data transfer vary for each species. Googirls and their subspecies have the biggest advantage and are just perfectly designed for the gooputers. Certain species like Plush Dogs or Balloon Foxes have no access at all, as they lack a biological brain that could be connected with the gooputer.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Gooputers are biological interfaces of Building-Goo that allow access and control over the strong processing powers and the vast database of the AI Sagi, which is integrated into any Goocave.
To start one, you simply push one of your hands into the gooey cubic. The goo of the gooputer connects with your body and flows through your arm directly up to your brain. To form this connection, the Gooputer only requires mere seconds. It is a weird, warm feeling that spreads through your arm up to your brain. As soon as the connection is online, you just need to think about what you want to do. You can ask yourself questions and the gooputer will send the answers to these questions directly into your brain. You can give commands, like sending messages or collecting certain data for a new report to the AI system and it will follow your commands. For a visual representation, the AI will send signals to your eyes, giving you the illusion of having a screen directly in front of your face.
The gooputer is just an interface for the AI, meaning that all your data is stored centrally, but only you have access to it. The protection of your data is done by your DNA with other biological indicators that form your private key. The central system also has a different set of permissions, allowing high-ranking officers of the Policeforce of Slimea to access the crime database or allowing operating mechanics of the goocaves to access restricted information for maintenance reports.

History
In the early days of Queendom of Slimea, it was only a small idea to combine electronic with the adaptability of the Building-Goo. Out of this idea developed finally the AI Sagi and with her the interfaces of the Gooputers to access her vast database and to quickly interact with her.
The main developer was Saya Sumpfkraut, a Goocat who can be seen as the mother of Sagi. Shortly after the breakthrough was done, the whole Goocaves were redesigned and fitted to work with the new AI System. Gooputers were at first only installed in certain areas like offices of the Policeforce of Slimea, but soon they were also installed at important locations like stations of the Goocave Transport System or inside hallways. Today, every room in the Goocaves can create a Gooputer interface to quickly access the processing power and the database of Sagi.
Significance
Gooputers have a vast usage in the Federation of Slimea and beyond in any Goocaves of Slimea. They are quicker to handle than most computers and with the connection to the AI Sagi, they are also far more powerful and easier to control. All offices in the Goocaves operate with Gooputers. They are installed in any hallway into the walls and most homes have access to at least one of them. The Gooputer have vastly pushed back the usage of normal computers and replaced them.
