Libi Tiefling
The death of a child, a stricken mother, and the scarring of lust. These are the birth of the Libi-... ...-A follower of Gaima, goddess of beauty and devotion, Mother Demnya was as devout as a priestess could be. It was no surprise that the goddess's favor rubbed off on her in the form of beauty. However, when Demnya finally gave birth to her first son, the priestess was torn apart to find the child stillborn and unresponsive. Gaima never responded to her prayers to bring her child back, never comforted the girl who fell further and further into despair as the days went on. It was unlike Gaima to ignore her followers, but Demnya felt she had no choice-... ...-The demon was unlike anything Demnya had seen, standing regal, tall, and nude before her. It listened to her pleas carefully, unmoving, uncaring; and when the woman finished, it grinned. It could bring back her child, but only at the cost of another. Through sobs and anger Demnya stated there had to be some other way than killing a another's baby, and indeed there was-... ...-Necromancy would always be a terrible magic. Those brought back would always be marked with death and Demnya's child was no exception. However, now there was something new. A corruption of innocence, a defiling of Gaima's beauty, and the everlasting scar of death-...To many Libi, beauty is a curse. A terrible thing that made too many blind, and corrupted too many others. Acquiring the beauty of their ancient ancestor, Demnya, the Libi are more than able to draw they eyes of passersby and will almost hold sway with those they interact with. They are considered a test to many devouts, a being of lust and evil and, as such, its not unheard of for Libi to be hunted and executed by fanatics. However, Libi are also caring, another trait they gained from their mother. They care too deeply for the world to see others in pain and would far rather be a lover than a fighter. As such, they tend to take up the mantle of healers and guardians in order to ensure others do not come into harm. This creates a strange duality. A creature that was born of a horrible act, a creature of demonic origin, only ever being kind and caring despite the hatred and spite thrown their way. Some Libi cannot deal with the prejudice that follows them and choose to live alone in the wild, where the animals and the trees cannot judge. That is their home where they are free from the law and oppression of society, but at the cost of being completely and utterly alone...- Children of Pain
Basic Information
Anatomy
Libi share a lot of human traits that can result in them looking normal in a crowd. However, their three defining aspects make that near impossible. Horns curl from their head, generally curling around their ears, like a ram's, and pointing forward. Secondly, they can be defined from small scatterings of sharp, nubby bones that can sprout anywhere, but generally in soft areas such as the base of the neck, shoulders, thighs, belly, and more. Lastly, they have black veins that are notably visible without the use of makeup, giving them a marbled look. Other than the above traits, they can look like any human.
Genetics and Reproduction
Libi always child Libi with a human spouse or another Libi. If two tieflings have a child, genetics come into play with the tiefling bloodline as a gene. The Libi gene is inherently submissive as a gene meaning that the child will almost always be the other tiefling.
