Tiefling

Demons are a significant part of Everisa. With a portal to the Nine Hells always open in the world, its not uncommon for people to strike a deal with a demon to get what they want. Sometimes, these deals are worth the cost, other times, they are not. Tieflings are descendants of people who's deals impacted and corrupted their body, soul, and mind. While they are seen as inherently evil, and some may be, not all tieflings want to sacrifice children and consume innocent flesh. Many simply wish to live a life disconnected from their blood.   Due to this, there's not much to say about tieflings here since one story does not cover all of them or who they are.   There are four forms of tiefling:   Libi are those borne of a contract ending in rape. Ava are those borne of a contract ending in possession. Irae are those borne of a contract ending in blood. Enid are those borne of a contract from another realm.
