Battlehymn Northbrook is Hammer-Of-God's second daughter and third overall child, twin sister of Lifesblood Vosch. As the names of the twins might suggest, they were the cause of Beulah's death-- she passed in childbirth, and Lifesblood nearly died after being excised from her body.
Battlehymn was not nearly as sociable as her sister, preferring to stay in the background. Still, she did well enough for herself and married for love-- a painter, a sensitive man by the name of Aldritch Northbrook.
Battlehymn and Lifesblood, ironically, were the only two of Hammer-Of-God's children by Beulah to reach adulthood, and Battlehymn even had children of her own.
Contrary to her name, Battlehymn preferred games of skill and wit. She worked at the Skelleyville library for some time when it was first founded, and fought fiercely for its continued funding during the years where town leadership considered slashing the library's income.
