Level 1 - Technician

Character has in depth knowledge of currently available mechanical technology, having worked in any number of private jobs, or as a military technician. They can do the following things.

1. Engineer characters can use and interact with items with a brown ribbon attached to them. These ribbons will tell you what the item does and how it works.
2. Engineers can create new items from appropriate resources in game.

Level 2 – Mechanical Specialist

Character can ‘specialise’ in any mechanic related field, driven by the in-game roleplay that character has been involved in. For example: an electrician, or a specialist in generators.

Once specialised, Info and Guidance answers become more detailed, and the Tinker ability now takes half the time at minimum, and you are able to get more useable salvage from item.
