Yalline Scorva
Yalline has served as lady in waiting to Lady Madeline Rosemeadow for the last decade. She has a talent for water magic which she is yet to fully develop and has joined Tyrness Academy where she is part of Ruethwyn's class.

In an attempt to prove her ability, Yalline stole some of Ruethwyn's notes on atavism. She summoned Hekara and attempted to make a pact with her. However Yalline had made mistakes with her summoning circle. Hekara was able to take control of Yalline's body and open a planar rift
to allow others from her plane through. The other students manage to defeat Hekara and release Yalline.
Yalline avoided being expelled from the Academy as she has too much talent and knowledge for them to allow her to remain untrained. She is on probation.
She was dismissed as Madeline's maid, at which point Master Mara took her as an apprentice.
