Konda is a well-decorated war hero from the Akatsuki Rebellion days with several accolades to his name due to a combination of swift, decisive tactics and impeccable timing to prove the deciding factor of the majority of battles he was a part of. Due to this reputation, he was offered his position as a Lieutenant of the Silver Guard during the early years of Katsuro's reformations of the organization. A position he gladly accepted and has served dutifully, going so far as to root out a treasonous plot from his very own son and daughter-in-law.

In spite of his great service to Silver Port, the Musa family name is tainted from the treasonous attempt at a Coup with the help of the Heng Hu Legion by his son and daughter-in-law. Though Kondo was able to root it out in time and punish those who dared conspire against the people of Silver Port, suspicion still lingers within the hearts of some. After all, the fruit of a tree falls to its root...

Kondo Musa is a man known and feared for his cunning; So much so that it is said that while Captain Katsuro is the man with the vision, it is Lieutenant Musa that made the streets of Silver Port safe again a possibility. It was his calculated strikes against the gangs that plagued the city that crushed the criminal elements into the ground, it was his eye for talent that granted the Guard the manpower needed, and it was his dealings that made sure that the Guard has its arsenal at the ready. But such success doesn't come without its detractors. Some of those within the Silver Guard or within its sphere of influence grumble, calling Kondo corrupt and a cut-throat opportunist.

Tragedy struck the Musa family when Hannibal Musa and Viola Musa were found guilty and executed for treason against the city of Silver Port. It is said their child, Kondo's grandson, Apollo Musa blames Kondo for the act-- this has driven a wedge between them.
