Golden Templars

This order is comprised of the survivors that have been cured of the Demonic Scarring and now have created their own organization to bring justice to the demons. There are however some members of this order that have not been previously afflicted with Demonic Scarring.
The templars use their newfound blessings to actively hunt and destroy all demons at any cost. Their home base of operation is the Parish of the Golden Scar where they usually come and go by airship.
The ranking system for the templars is based on how many medals you have been awarded. These medals are granted by slaying demons of various status, converting those with Demonic Scarring, acts of exemplary courage in battle, rescuing members of the Golden Templars, and various other acts.
Many of the templars become paladins of varying degrees. They are required to do a minimum of 3 months combat training before they can go on missions and train in the field, however if there is an emergency they may be requested to assist immediately.
There is also a reasonable amount of templars that simply choose to help by crafting magical items, tending to the scarred ones, fortification maintenance, air ship engineering, mining operations, trade management, etc.
The leader of this order is none other than the famous Alistair Helios, he is a renowned Aasimar paladin and the first to discover how to lead a scarred one to the light. As his accomplishments were recorded he was able to begin training other members how to cure the scarred ones.
