Orc

Orcs are a species of goblinoid kithfolk more immediately related to goblins, hobgoblins, and ettin than any other proper kithfolk. Though originally native to eastern Arekahs, particularly on the Vreznan isles, they are now common sights along the inland eastern coast, as well as western Karda and southern Khaddal. Notably taller on average than humans or elves, orcs are often bulky and muscular creatures possessing harsh facial features and coarse, thick hair. Orcs sport pointed, elongated ears similar to most goblinoid kithfolk and develop elongated, tusk-like canines which protrude from their lower jaws in adolescence—longer on average in males than females. Orcs are rare sights outside of the areas surrounding their homelands, but have been valued across various nations' militaries due to their imposing statures. Even so they are often subject to prejudice, particularly in the northern elven lands of Ivskia where they are deigned lesser, uncivilized creatures which lack the aptitude for proper social participation—beneath the rights given to other kithfolk and far below the status of the High Peoples.
