The Steel Battalion

The most elite fighting force in Milinea's military. The Steel Battalion is composed of the best demon hunters in the country, dispatched across Ophica to hunt down monsters or demons nobody else can take. Although most of its members comprise of other Milineans, citizens originating from another country can attain leadership of the battalion if they show enough promise in their abilities.
Despite being heroes that can live up to their reputation, they are not immune to propaganda, and are in fact used as morale boosters and advertisers to the military's might. The warriors themselves, however, are mostly oblivious to this fact, and simply see their reputation as proper gratitude rather than the work of the government. Currently, the battalion is lead by Stella Brighton, an honorary citizen hailing from Frigus. Although she is more than fit for her role, the fact that a foreigner was suddenly (and suspiciously quickly) appointed as the leader was orchestrated by the Milinean government to further their propaganda, instilling the idea that anyone can be welcomed into the highest ranks without worrying about social status. Rather than doing this for any benevolent reason, however, Milinea uses this unfortunately false sense of hope to gather more soldiers for their army and exploits.
The strongest demons beware the cold steel of their blade, but even the best knights become pawns to an unjust king.

Public Agenda

The Steel Battalion seeks to protect everyone in Ophica by slaying demons and monsters that threaten the safety of all life. Due to Milinea's propaganda, however, this unfortunately includes Ophicans.

Upon discovering the truth behind Milinea, Stella and the rest of her team immediately stopped hunting Ophicans and focused on reforming the nation in any way they could.

Assets

Milinea supplies the Steel Battalion with its best mystic weapons and most durable armor. They are well known for wearing steel armor created in an astral forge that still allows them to move flexibly enough to do fantastic feats in battle, unhindered by weight.
