Timberscar

Timberscar is located on Wayfort Isle between Cliffmere and Nightwood. It is famous for its Academy, which is renowned for its as much for its varied and unrestriced curriculum as its varied and unrestriced faculty. Arendell has always been a haven for those looking a little more freedom from the normal rules of society as well as those looking to escape their old life, and Timberscar certainly is a haven for academics that fit that mould. It is a bustling and bawdy haven for students, artists, scholars, and freethinkers. Here the young and freethinking reign supreme (in spirit, if not always in fact), with a mug of something strong in hand as they blaze new trails in fashion and thought, confident that the rest of the world will soon follow.

Government

Timberscar like all settlements on Arendell has several represetatives on the Free peoples of Arendell committee. The town itself however was built around the Ivanbar Academy over 1000 years ago and as a result most local matters are decided by elder members of the academy staff.
