Sisterhood of the Urso

Not a true myth, mind you, but more a legend built up around one of the clans... It is said of the most elusive of all the tribes, the Sisterhood of the Urso, that not one man stands among their ranks. That the sisters have found some other means of propagating their ranks. This might have something to do with the other strange rumor that abounds regarding their disposition. Those who've encountered the feared warriors (and lived to tell the tale) swear that every single member they encountered was identical to each other. As if they were poured from the exact same mold. The sisters attempt to "hide" this (or perhaps enhance this illusion) by painting their faces to such a degree that their features are somewhat obscured. However, accounts of these "clone" women are beginning to become fairly widespread. Enough that they cannot truly be ignored. So what does this mean? Is there some form of fell magic involved? Could it have something to do with their rituals involving newborn sisters? Are they all truly and directly related by blood? Who fathers the children of the sisterhood? These are all closely guarded secrets that the sisterhood will kill to protect... But why?

Structure

Outside of the Dusk Mother who sits above the ranking system employed throughout the sisterhood the Organisational structure of the Sisterhood is taken from the Shadowspear Knightly order of Urso there are 2 rank structures which are both overseen by the High Marshall . The bulk of the order are soldier class with the ranking system of levies of the order, Companion at arms, Corporal, Sergeant and Sergeant Major. The Knight class are receive the mark of the blade at birth by the Dusk Mother personally . It is from these chosen that the High Marshall will select from to attain the rank of Knight, with the ranking system as follows . Knight, Knight Lieutenant, Knight Captain, Knight Major and Knight Commander.

Culture

Though founded some 300 years after the end of the Dark war, the culture of the Sisterhood of the Urso is very much templated around the expected code of conduct and structure of the old Shadowspear Empire Knightly Order of Urso.

Thou shall not recoil before thine enemy
Thou shalt make war against the infidel without cessation and without mercy
Thou shalt know fear but forever rule as fears master
Thou shalt be everywhere and always the champion of the Empire


Though it is not known why this is the case it certainly apparent in all aspects of life within the sisterhood, as is their deference for the legendary warrior Freya Urso of the former Shadowspear Empire.
