Castlehall

The southern most settlement in the Sea of Sirens , Castlehall is the gateway from the south to the central and northern regions. Originally a far flung outpost of the Elorran empire built on top of an old temple to Melora, Castlehall serves much the same purpose it has for centuries, protecting the naval pass between the southern and northern regions, as being a convenient stopping point for ships taking the main trade route between Elion and Infinis .

Government

Castlehall falls under the control of the Regality of Alazir, however the security of the island is a joint venture between the Regality and the Kingdom of Elion due to the importance of the shipping lane that passes through its waters.

Defences

Castlehall sits atop an imposing cliff and possesses even more imposing walls, making direct assault difficult. Further, the citadels Watch force is one of the best drilled and training in the Regality due to the importance of the lucrative east west trade routes that flow through its waters.
