Platinum Coin
Platinum coins are a Coin of Ruten and the most valuable out of the entire line. They are almost always hexagonal in shape, and usually noticeably thicker than other coins, as they are not as frequently used and therefore do not get worn down nearly as quickly as other coins. One face of the coin is usually imprinted with the head of the ruler of the region they were minted in, while the other face frequently has an elaborate design of the ruler's home city stamped into it. Though they are accepted at almost any bank or other exchange location in The Material Plane, merchants who primarily sell lower cost supplies will frequently reject them due to fears of being robbed.
Manufacturing process
Platinum coins can be created in a standard minting facility, or illegally forged in a mold.
