Gilean
Gilean is the neutral god of time, order, history, and knowledge. He is brother to both Takhisis and Paladine, and is the only one of the three who's true form is not that of a draconic creature. Gilean often is represented as an ancient man with a long white beard, writing the history of the world as it passes in the endless library he calls his home. He rarely interacts with The Material Plane, choosing instead to allow his followers to write their own path into his books.

As Gilean was the mediator between Takhisis and Paladine, after the dethroning of both he took a similar role among the other gods and goddesses, often stepping in as a neutral third party between debates and arguments.

History
Moeval is known to have a great distaste for his father's neutrality on many situations, and has distanced himself from Gilean because of this. Gilean has shown very little concern over his son's coldness, calling it "a concern for another age".
