Angels
Angels are a type of humanoid Celestial that resemble Humans with wings. They are native to Mount Celestia and are frequently seen as servants or foot soldiers of the good gods that reside there. Note that though Planars, Devas and even sometimes Solars are also often referred to as angels due to their similarity in appearance and nature, they are not true angels.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Angels have a very similar anatomy to Avariels, with a humanoid shape and two large wings that extend from the scapula of their shoulder blades.
Genetics and Reproduction
Angels cannot reproduce, instead being created either from nothing, from a relationship involving a solar and a mortal humanoid, or from a willing pre-existing humanoid by the gods themselves.
Growth Rate & Stages
Angels do not change with age.
Ecology and Habitats
Angels are capable of living in any environment, as they are unaffected by even extreme weather. They do however have difficulties staying any length of time on any of the negative planes, as they are in constant pain while existing there, ranging from pinpricks to searing pain.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Angels do not need to eat, though they are capable of doing so and enjoy fine food and drink from time to time.

Beauty Ideals
Angels are naturally beautiful by the standards of other living creatures, and therefore lack any real beauty ideals themselves.
Gender Ideals
Angels have distinct male and female genders, though the difference is primarily a physical one and there is a distinct lack of a societal difference.

Angels almost universally speak both Common and Celestial.
Common Dress Code
Angels are known to be modest in covering their bodies with their clothes, though the actual make of the clothes is all but modest. Long, flowing Silk robes threaded with Silver and Gold are commonplace for most angels, with some even embedding gems in their clothes.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
While angels are unable to reproduce with any creature, they are known to form both platonic and romantic relationships with their own species and other intelligent humanoids. These relationships are considered to be honorable among many sapient species', and acceptable among the angels themselves.
