Dreadwood
The Dreadwood is a large forest that sits to the east of Mudtown and is the home to a multitude of terrors. All sorts of undead can be found in its depths, but most that reach the outer fringe are dispatched by the Ranger Patrols operating out of Burle.
This region is considered the domain of Granny Nightshade, an ancient and powerful Hag who dwells in the deepest depths of the forest where the planar bindings between the Material Plane and the Shadowfell are thin. Not many venture beyond the out fringe of the forests, but those that have and returned say that the forest becomes much more sinister and foreboding.
