Cult of the Red

Cult of the Red is a newly-emerged esoteric cult operating within the Vimor Empire, with its activities largely confined to the mountainous city of Lexica and the surrounding regions. The group has drawn attention due to its unusual calling sign—a red-painted coin left subtly at locations of interest or given to potential recruits. Though not yet responsible for any major acts of violence or sedition, whispers of the cult’s presence have spread rapidly through taverns, trade houses, and alleyways alike.
Followers of the Cult of the Red are said to serve a figure known only as The Master, though their exact beliefs and goals remain nebulous. Current speculation among local scholars and informants suggests the cult sees The Master as a liberator or hidden prophet, whose arrival will reshape the local order. So far, their activities seem more focused on recruitment, secret gatherings, and the dissemination of obscure writings and symbols rather than overt violence or sabotage.
