Dean Uvilda Mistcoiler

"Can I have a volunteer? Preferably, someone who knows how to handle a cannon."
— Dean Uvilda Mistcoiler, Episode 5: The Aftermath

Description

Pristine and serene, Dean Uvilda Mistcoiler entered her Art of War class on the first day wearing a flowy turquoise gown with floral patterns at the bottom, and miniature figurines fighting in battle depictions further up. Her class emphasizes the importance of choreography and how knowing moves like the back of your hand can save your life. It also covers instances in history when battles were won with incorporated dance moves unbeknownst to the enemy.   She started her course with a literal bang by recruiting her students to fire a cannon at her, encouraging them to "aim for the heart", as she dodged out of the way with fancy dance moves.

Year 1 Involvement

Dean Mistcoiler taught Art of War to Griff, a course known for its bombast and destructive lessons.   In response to Professor Zaffai’s decision to make the villain of Lilith an Oriq, Captain Dapplewing revoked his play directing privileges and put Uvilda in charge. The Dean removed most spoken lines and replaced much with interpretive dance. Nobody liked her changes or appreciated her involvement, which led Rosie to staging yet another protest to get Professor Zaffai reinstated.   Her near-assassination gave Dapplewing a change of heart, and Dean Mistcoiler accompanied her when she told Zaffai he would be reinstated and his version of Lilith would show on The Rose Stage. The Dean appeared to have no ill feelings regarding the decision, only disappointment that her “perfection” wouldn’t be shared.
