Zhe Na, sortly after his encounter with Wenshu Guanfa Tianzun, saw another opportunity to strike down his father and end his hatred. Before this battle, Randeng Daoren saw Zhe Li Jing and told him to hide behind him in Intuition Cave or be destroyed by his son.
When Zhe Na appeared before Randeng, the deity said to him, "Did not this issue get resolved in the Cloud Top cave? It is unwise and immoral to rekindle vengeance.
This time, Li Jing had a chance.

Angry and resentful, Zhe Na could not be assuaged by Randeng. Randeng Daoren then pushed Li Jing forward, insisting he fight his son. Before Zhe Na arrived, Randeng had spit upon Li Jing's back, granting him magical powers. Finally, father was a match for his son.
Zhe Na easily saw through the trickery, and used his Fire Tipped Spear to stab at Randeng Daoren. The deity of doors easily avoided being stabbed by producing impossibly huge lotus flowers from his mouth. When Zhe Na attacked the god again, he had no choice but to unleash his purple cloud from his sleeve. This purple cloud would pull Zhe Na into a large extra-planar pagoda, trapping him. It seemed as if the cloud were actually smoke; that purple cloud appeared to be coming from the pagoda, which was burning.
Satisfied that he could adequately control the wild child, Daoren elevated Zhe Li Jing emperor, starting what would be the last dynsaty of the Ancient Jiao. He also taught him this secret technique, in case Zhe Na rebelled again.
After this point, Zhe Li Jing became known as the Pagoda Bearing Emperor, since he was entrusted with the Exquisite Golden Pagoda.
