Young's
Young’s it’s called. Tucked away behind piles of rubble that used to be warehouses is a still somehow standing building. For whatever reason, most of the Wettans ignore it or don’t know about its existence. It is the house of a small family who have managed to raise a small herd of cattle.
The eldest son in the family is part of the Techs. He provides rice and whatever random vegetables he has to his family when he can. Though living on base within IQ HQ, he’ll still stop by the house and visit his family - preparing gifts each time.
Young’s offers temporary lodging, as well as small meals. They welcome all, Wettans or not, as long as they are willing to pay/trade. The family themselves practice fasting and consume a small portioned meal once every three days. The meals often consist of rice, an egg, and some beef. They call it Tapsilog.
The family has kept a secret recipe - their special “hot sauce”. For guests, they’ll often serve mixed veggies with rice with a healthy serving of their sauce. It all goes into a clay pot that they then heat over a fire. Once the ingredients start sizzling, an egg will be cracked on top. The heat from the food starts cooking the egg. With an extra drizzle of special sauce, the yolk is broken and everything is mixed together and taken off the fire. The clay pot continues to keep the food warm and crisps the rice. They call it Bibimbap. Occasionally they’ll add some beef into the mix as well.
