Altrenean
Altrenean is the lingua franca of the Kingdom of Altrenea. It is primarily based on the language spoken in the Stone Coast region, the location of the kingdom's ruling seat and the first of the three minor kingdoms to propose the union into one regented kingdom.
Writing System
The Altrenean alphabet is a slightly altered version of the standard alphabet used for the Stone Coast's local language, Shorespeak, which in itself is influenced by trade contact with the land across the bay from their shore. Special accents and a few unique letters have been added to accomodate the languages spoken in the other provinces, particularly the province of Riversward whose trade contact with regions to the west and south of the Land of Fallen Stars had influenced their dialect deeply.
