The Battle of Tukayyid
The Conflict
Prelude
On February 8th, 3052, Precentor Torres of ComStar entered Jonas Kruger's office. What was discussed in this meeting is unknown. However within 24-hours, Jonas, Meo Tran-Kruger, Shurik Arano, Cassie Furse, Merrick Englemann, Jerry Gerard, Azysa Takeda, Charlie Burke, Eri Davis, the Night Hawk team, and Yasmine Harris would depart from Andover Spaceport. It is now known that their destination was Tukayyid for the decisive battle.
The Engagement
The team would arrive in time for the beginning of the battle. Through the strategic use of batchalls, prepared positions, and superiour firepower, they held back Smoke Jaguars in the Dinju Pass and eliminated Jade Falcons outside Humptulips. They would eventually form a portion of the defensive line outside Brzo against Clan Wolf.
The flood of Wolves proved too much to stem as they flooded the fields outside Brzo. A fallback order was given and the team employed a bounding movement to retreat into the city. This retreat continued through the streets as more clan battlemechs applied pressure. It is then that Jonas Kruger and Shurik Arano chose to hold in an attempt to buy the others time.
Shurik would be the first to fall. Acting as rearguard alongside Jonas, his tank would take a hit from a Clan PPC. The blast managed to punch through the vehicle's armor, cooking off what ammunition still remained. The explosion caused the modified Behemoth'sfusion engine to detonate as well, killing the commander of the armored forces instantly.
Jonas Kruger then issued challange after challange, keeping the clans attention on him. Mjolnir would eventually succumb to the same intense fire that took Shurik. Jonas survived both gauss rifles discharging their built up charge as well as the subsiquent collapse of his battlemech. He was last seen being evacuated by a member of the Night Hawk team as a clan missile collapsed the building they were taking cover behind.
Aftermath
The Battle of Tukayyid, although technically a success, marks a dramatic shift in the company.
Meo Tran would step away from the company entirely, instead becoming governor of Andover Province.
Cassandra Arano-Furse would continue the work her husband had started, designing new generations of Charybdis and Scylla armored vehicles.

Yasmine Harris would be the only member of the group that would stay in the company. Charlie Burke's apprentice at the time, she would go on to take his place as Master Tech of the Riesenjagers.
Command of the company would now fall to Trinh Tran-Kruger with the other children of the founders filling the roles of their parents.
