Fayr Mountain Range
A lush, low lying mountain range that covers most of the Rhosaya peninsula in southern Rhydar.
Geography
Fayr River
The Fayr River cutting through the lush mountains. The second biggest mountain range on Rhydar, after the Albany, these long chain of mountains give birth to a river of the same name, as it stretches from the mountains in the northeastern part of the peninsula down to the city of AnnonRose and empties at the Rin Strait. The river, along with many other much smaller ones, give most of the peninsula access to plenty of freshwater throughout the year, however some rivers do have a tendency to dry up or flood during parts of the year.Settlements
Small settlement in the river valley. They're are plenty of small towns and cities, such as the city of Hana, which sits very near to the peaks of the mountains, that are littered across. Especially near many of the monuments/temples that are scattered throughout its 400 mile stretch.Fauna & Flora
Beautiful flowering Rhos Trees near Fayr River.
There aren't many large animals that live within the valley region or mountain range, mostly just smaller herbivores and insects, but the land makes up for its lack of fauna with its abundance of flora. Being host to the most diverse species of plants on Rhydar, after the Lupine forest, the mountains are covered from base to peak in luscious greenery. With its most iconic plant being the Rhos Tree, which flowers a beautiful pink in the spring and summer months, painting the mountains in a green/pink mix before the flowers darken into a base red in the late summer/fall.
Natural Resources
Small revived Rhos Temple.
The valley and mountain area is home to countless flowers and herbs that have been used in various medicines and cosmetics. Though this is the case, any deformation of the area around any of the Rhos Temples or Rhos trees is strictly taboo and forbidden in the Rhosaya district and severely punishable if one is caught.
