The Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill was the one major engagement of the Siege of Boston. Rebel forces were able to fight off multiple rounds of British attacks, but ultimately were forced to retreat when ammunition ran out. The battle actually took place on Breed's Hill. During the attack the town of Charlestown was burned by the British when they realized they were being fired upon from that direction.
