The Leviathan War

The Leviathan War occurred between the Kingdom of Volnia and the Kingdom of Sarbrynia and its ally, the Grand Duchy of Canyndor, that lasted two years between 7642 and 7644PA. The war was largely instigated by trade conflicts between the Kingdom of Volnia and the Kingdom of Sarbrynia, the Volnics particularly adamant that they had declared the war as a defensive measure against the privateering and embargo policy of the coastal Brynic nation. Though most of the war was fought at sea, seeing perhaps the greatest naval battles of the millennia, the war would be decided by a Battle in the harsh drylands below the Sarranid Mountains where Sarbrynia and the Grand Duchy would press on to victory after defeating Volnic forces at the Battle of Balmek.
