Pithill

Pithill is a fortified town that lies within the north-eastern extent of the Vallen Marsh, within the Runic Empire. The town is built upon a highly prominent hill that looks out over the relatively flat marshland and provides one of the most significant vantage points for hundreds of miles. The hill was once occupied by the ancestors of the Toranian people who considered the site of great religious importance to The Hallowed Faith, however, it was long ago captured by the Runic and its holy kirks destroyed and in their place barracks and great walls constructed.
