Beanfly
The Beanfly is a small, round-bodied fly that is easily identified by its bright brown/beige colour, which can often be found in the more remote pastoral location where herd animals such as goats or sheep are common. The Beanfly is known to reproduce through a parasitical process wherein the fly will bite the animal and place its eggs within the bite. The bacteria within the flies saliva will create a small amount of dead skin and flesh around the bite allowing the larvae to feed. This is not generally a life-threatening process for the host animal but can potentially lead to further ailment. The Beanfly does not naturally bite animals other than herd and cattle animals, however, cases, where the fly has bitten humans, has led to the mutation of bacteria within the saliva causing the deadly Tuono's Kiss, though this link is unknown the people of Tuono's Corpse.
